How To Play Woodpecker Catching Insects Toy

Exercise your baby’s fine hand movements

The official recommended age is 2 years old. Actually, the kid around 1 and a half years old can play with parents.

Not to mention that this insect-catching toy has become popular. It really has extraordinary magic power. The young ladies in my company are obsessed with it. Catching insects is the norm this week.

This toy consists of three parts: 1 stump (wood + plastic + silicone), 8 caterpillars (wood), and 1 insect-catching woodpecker (wood + plastic).

The whole toy has no burrs, whether it is wooden or plastic, it is very smooth, so your kids can play with it safely.

The gameplay is also very simple:

① Put the colored caterpillar into the tree hole;

② The mother woodpecker catches the bug;

③ Feed the baby woodpecker accurately into the mouth.

In the eyes of us adults, the three easy steps can exercise the baby in all aspects.

▶ Color cognition, mathematics enlightenment-colorful caterpillar

The 8 caterpillars are made of solid wood. The whole body is very smooth, with cute horoscopes and magnets embedded in their heads.

There are four colors in total, gorgeous pink, warm blue, full green, and elegant purple. The colors are full and advanced.

If your kid is a small month-old baby who is not very talkative, mothers can use colored caterpillars to play the game of “pointing one color” with your baby.

The mother first teaches the correct color one by one, and then gives instructions to guide the baby to find the caterpillar of the correct color. You can also diverge thinking and compare other objects of the same color in the home.

for example:

“Baby, which caterpillar is wearing a pink dress?”

“Let’s find out all the green caterpillars together!”

“What color is the eggplant that Dad loves to eat?”

When the baby gets older and can count 1 2 1 2, the caterpillar will come in handy again.

for example:

“Count out how many caterpillars there are.”

“Baby, can you give mom 3 caterpillars?”

“There are 2 blue caterpillars here. Mom took one. How many are left?”

▶ Exercise fine hand movements and concentration-catching bugs

First, we must “put” the caterpillars into the hole one by one.

Then “hold” the mother woodpecker, and accurately point the mother woodpecker’s mouth at the head of the caterpillar, and “suck” it.

Then “catch” the caterpillar from the tree hole.

Finally, your kid must accurately “feed” the caterpillar into the baby woodpecker’s mouth.

Simple “release”, “hold”, “suck”, “catch” and “feed” all require the baby to properly use the strength of the wrist, and at the same time exercise the coordination ability between the hands and eyes, which is very helpful Promote the development of fine motor hand.

For children, continuous practice is needed to complete the fun work of mother woodpecker catching insects and feeding, and also cultivate children’s concentration and patience.

The kid can’t stop playing around (32 months)▼

The kid don’t even miss the ten minutes on the way to school▼

The seemingly simple toy has so much learning value in it, and it is worth the money!

▶ The magnetic force is just right, the baby is easy to operate

Magnetism is actually very particular, especially for baby toys.

If the magnetic force is not easy to fall off, the baby’s enthusiasm will be hit after repeated failures. If the magnetism is too strong, it will not work. If you keep sucking and not putting it in the baby woodpecker’s mouth, the baby’s patience will also be worn out.

The just right magnetism gives the baby full of self-confidence and fun, the magic is unlimited, and the baby can’t stop at all.
